It's pouring! Doncha just loveeeeeee chilly days like this? Me likey! Err actually only at times when my plan for the day is to drown myself in books. Wokay. I have nothing to blog bout so this entry is deemed as redundant.

The continuous howls of a dog from the next apartment is pissing me off big time. My dad is amused. "Adek! Ade hantu! Ade hantu! while giggling to himself. Urghhhhh. That particular dog loves to howl irregardless of the time. Be it 8.45am, 2.15pm, 5.05pm, okay u get the gist. So I decided to do some research.

As cited on Pets.families.com , there are a few reasons to why dogs howl.

Howling to ease loneliness: in the wild, a pack of wolves that is spread out through the forest will communicate with a variety of noises. A long, ringing howl will send the message that a dog is not alone -- especially when other dogs answer.

Howling to show joy: Scott, one of our Computer Bloggers, has a yellow lab named Boomer who howls out of sheer happiness. His howl is more of a WOO-OO-OO WOO-OO-OO sound, but his tail wags mile-a-minute when he does it.

Howling as a greeting is related to howling for joy. Every dog has their own special way of greeting you. Barking, howling, butt-wiggling, kissing, jumping... they are communicating their happiness.

Howling as an alert: lately, if my Lally Bee is barking at something and she feels I'm not paying enough attention, her bark will change to a howl. WOO. WOO. WOOOOOOO! She seems to be saying, "This is serious, Mom, pay attention!"

Howling to music: dogs have approximately the same hearing range that humans do, but they can detect much smaller changes in tone. Their hearing is much more sensitive -- like a person with perfect pitch, compared to someone who is tone deaf. If a musical howler like Miko didn't want to hear the birthday song, he could have just left the room. By joining in, he was taking his place in the pack as they raised their voices in song.

Hmmm howling to music? I don't think that's true cos usually when someone plays a piano or whatsoever, the dog doesn't howl! Hmm maybe it was out for a walk? Maybe it was at the pet grooming centre? Okay now i get it! Dogs have a ear for music. So guys, if a dog keeps howling, play him some tunes on the guitar or piano. If you happened to be not musically inclined, you can resort to a recorder. Don't tell me you have forgotten the notes to Mary Had A Little Lamb your music teacher taught you in elementary school?!

Anyone remembered Ms Theresa? I can't seem to recall her surname. She was my music teacher back in elementary school. I still remembered we had to greet her in the tune she played on the piano! If you happened to sing it in the wrong tune, happy standing! She would continuously play the tune until you got it right. She is nice though. Always in cute vintage dresses ehemn despite her age. Hahhhh. I still have the vintage stamp she gave us during children's day. Who knows Im able to make a few K out of that in years to come. Okay whatevs dream on.

Wow. I started off the entry with nothing to blog bout and tadaaaaa! OKAY I BETTER SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Off to the supermarket for some grocery shopping with my parents.

Yesterday I had to cancel my trip to JB for my momma's sake. Chet. She told me tag along to Downtown East for Rentak Singapura. The line up was great, so why not? I pretty much enjoyed myself. Hmmm just that it would be better if each band/artist were to perform at least 2 songs. I think 1 song didn't suffice lor. It was my first time watching our local talents like Maiya Rahman, Aliff Aziz, Aqmal, Nurun Nuwarrah, Didicazli, SleeQ and the rest (not including Art Fadzil. i love his music!) and boy was I impressed! They could definitely perform live. Loves it! as what Paris Hilton would say.

I sat behind a group of pakcik rockers. They did their usual headbanging, raised their hands up high and did the sign of the horns when the metal bands performed. When it was time for slow songs, they whipped out their phones and played SUDOKU!!! Hahah they'll keep their phones when another metal band emerged on stage.

It took forever to upload A video one youtoooob. Reena! Here's SleeQ! Both of them waved for you! I just love CAPITAL Q in words. Like darlinQues. Ok why am I telling you this piece of redundant info??? Anyway, it's not the entire set.

 

Tomorrow is Daddy's birthday! Yesterday, we had an advanced birthday celebration for him! =)

Phuture on Friday to celebrate Lilian's belated birthday. It was madness I tell you. Packed like whoa. 5 hours on the dancefloor? I had fun nevertheless!  So when is the next clubbing session, girls? I need to meet Ian James Harrison a.k.a Harrison Bin Sontaril. HAHAHAHAH! Oh yeah not forgetting Rumai's Snowy. They are siblings. That, we assumed. Lol.

Oh yeah not forgetting us getting stalked! OMG THAT WAS SO SCARY!!!!!!!!!

Family dinner at RP on Scotts today! What's the occasion? My eldest brother got his class 2 license today. So yeah, a celebration for him. =)

He got his license today but the bike has been ready for him since last month. Nicely parked and covered at the carpark. *shakes head* Very sexy lor the bike and it's heeeeyuge!  It's a Suzuki K6 or something.

I just realised something. My brothers always get the same bikes. When they passed their 2B, each got themselves a Yamaha TZM. Later on they got their respective Yamaha 125z for their part- time delivery jobs and also to buat lagau purposes. TZM was strictly for jalan-jalan carik pompuan. Hahaha.

When they got their 2A, both of them got a Honda Fireblade each. Now I shall wait for my second brother's TP. Will he be getting the Suzuki K6 as well......

I've just finished watching GG Ep 16. Lil J is so annoying. She tries too hard. She should jolly well know that victory belongs to Queen B.

GLORY GLORY!

I just love reruns. I've just completed watching all three seasons of The Hills for the second time.

Currently Im chatting with my eldest bro on msn. He is a room away from me. Hah.

Life's great. You know why right?

I need to start posting pictures. My blog's dead. The blog's long dead actually.

Just got back from work 40 minutes ago. I couldn't sleep so here I am. Thanks to the Italian Coffee la Tongster! Lol. But its nice. With chopped peanuts and bits of chocolate chunks.

Anywaysssss... You know what?! While I was doing cashiering today, a man (31 ah 31!) farted. It was a long one. I just kept quiet cos I didn't want him to feel awkward in other ways, make him feel paiseh la. I nearly fainted when I was about to walk out of the cashier counter.

Hahahaha danggggg..

While I was walking at the Departure Transit Mall, a China lady walked past me. She farted. An Australian man was next to me, he said, "I think you're gonna get a good whiff." Lol.

A few days ago, I served this Korean customer. She gave me a KrispyKreme doughnut cos she was thankful for my help. Hah. She's going to stay in Singapore for 6 months before going back to Sydney. Claimed that she's goin to look for a job in Changi Airport and be my friend. To top it off, she said she's gonna bring Krispy Kreme for me whenever she drops by Singapore. Haha.

This is what you'll get for staying in the airport for like about plus minus 45 hours a week.

Whatever it is, they are the ones who'll make your day. =D

But what makes me the happiest is when customers drop by my store cos they wanna say HI. Today i had 3 of them customers who dropped by. They are frequent flyers so yeah. One of the customers even said that she came the other day but I wasn't working. She told me that she's flying somewhere next week and hoping forward to see me. Touching right? Lol.

Ok lah. I wanna watch a few episodes of The Hills, play a few rounds of Sushi Go Round and off to sleep.

sup babies? im feelin so damn bored. i've got no plans for today.

did some spring cleaning. like again. thats what i'll do when i've got nothing better to do. ha. did the laundry, vacuumed the entire house, including all the rooms hokay. am i nice or what?
